Hello Bride-to-be and Welcome! This is such an exciting time for you! We’re Ashley and isaac and we’re a husband and wife team that make up Ashley Brunell Photography! We’re so excited that you found us and because we believe that getting to know our clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, we’d love to tell you a litte about us!
- My husband, Isaac, joined the team officially in 2019.
- We have been married since 08.14.09 (Best. Day. Ever.)
- We have two children, Abigail and Oliver.
- We moved to LA from Kansas City July 4, 2018.
- Ashley is the lead photographer, email writer, blogger and editor!
- We travel all over the world photographing weddings and we love it!
- We shoot 10-15 weddings annually.
- We love creating beautiful images but more importantly, we love serving couples on one of the greatest days of their lives!!

MY PHILOSOPHY | I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Our goal as wedding photographers is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When I think back to my wedding day, I wish I had a photographer to make the experience! (Read about my wedding day on my blog.) Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.

THE PROCESS| One way I ensure that our brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with our couples. We try our best to make sure that all of our couples are the PERFECT fit for us before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! We thrive at helping our couples get comfortable and feel like themselves. After the first 20 minutes of your session, you will be pros. GUARANTEED. I’ve NEVER had a couple not feel at ease! Even if you think you’re not photogenic or if your fiancé “hates having pictures taken”, you will be killing it after 20 minutes have gone by! That’s all the time we need to get rid of nerves and start capturing the joy of this new season of your life together!
After your engagement session you’ll be featured on the AeBlog and will also be sent your online gallery of images to download and share however you wish.
Digital Files
We average 75-100 images per hour that we're shooting. We love delivering our client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share, and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!

Coverage
Our couple's usually opt for 8 hours of coverage. Our main goal right now is securing and saving your date. You can always add additional coverage as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.

Our Shooting Style
We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn't even know I am there.

Booking
Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that our Wedding Experience is exactly what you're looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. You can save your date by signing you contract and paying your deposit online.
